Before we begin the installation process, we will remove all OLD roofing material and components down to the decking and evaluate the roof deck for damage, making any repairs as we go. We will re-nail the entire roof deck with 8D ring shank nails; the threads on these nails separate the wood fibers, which then lock back into the rings, thus resisting removal and bringing your entire decking system up to the current & highest FL Hurricane code.
